Dear valued members, parents, caregivers and visitors
Somerset Health and Fitness Pty Ltd COVID-19 update
We have always prided ourselves with the strictest workplace health and safety and hygiene control at both our Centres.
We have been and will continue to monitor the situation relating to COVID-19 and always follow advice from the Australian Government, Somerset Regional Council, Fitness Australia and Queensland Health to ensure that we are adhering to the recommended guidelines for the health and safety in everything we offer.
Centre activities, classes and programs
We would like to assure our members and their guests of the following: –
- We offer hand sanitiser, tissues and medical-grade disinfectant spray for surfaces
- That our Centres are cleaned several times daily is hospital grade cleaning products and all surfaces are wiped after use.
- Certain activities will not be returning until a later, safe date such as netball, hot yoga, kid’s activities. Morning yoga will be conducted on the court area.
- We ask any members going interstate or overseas to inform us about their travel and method – this will be documented.
- Staff have the right to ask someone who is displaying signs of Covid-19, to leave the premises, and seek medical clearance (but we hope people will stay away if they have any signs)
